One of the things that are most important to me besides my family, are my friends.
Some of them I see almost every day, others only rarely. Like my friend Bahar, with whom I went to school.
While I almost immediately went into self-employment after graduating from Gymnasium, Bahar got around quite a bit and tried all kinds of different things.
For a while, she worked at the port of Hamburg, was a gardener, and took care of animals on a farm.
She was particularly fond of the pigs there, so I made her one myself out of fabric.
Although we often don’t see each other for months, it’s always as if it was only yesterday that we were last together.
In the end, however, the joy of having met her at all and then seeing her again the next time and hearing what new things she has experienced in the meantime always outweighs the sadness.
