The very cold days are hopefully gone for now and with the cranes and the first – still chilly – sunny days, we hope for the spring soon to come.
Two weeks ago, however, things looked quite different. The sun did also make an appearance, but it was bitterly cold. Who would have thought that winter would come again like this?
Either way, Jack Frost must have had a hand in it too, because in our garden we had the most amazing ice formations and icicles.
Adventure on the rocks
And if it already looks like that here, what will it look like elsewhere? At least that’s what Lina ( who has always been the more adventurous of us) thought and set off through the frozen forest and meadow.
Namely to a rock formation, from which small waterfalls fall down and form streams in all directions through the forest. And BINGO! The water was frozen there to a true column temple.
Isn’t it incredible what beauty nature creates?
I, at least, wish now that I could have accompanied Lina and admired the spectacle in real. Even if I would have peed in my pants during the climb certainly. 😉
