This summer is rainy in Germany. No question about it! Nature is happy, but for some fruits and vegetables there was way too little sun so far.
The grapes in front of our door are rotten and the tomatoes just do not even get red.
A little yield we could make nevertheless. And so we have harvested zucchini, cucumbers, currants, raspberries, blackberries and also a few cherries.
Maybe we’ll make jam or fruitcake out of them, which we can hopefully enjoy out on the terrace in the sun. In any case, some berries must go directly from the bush to the mouth, because nothing tastes as good as when it comes from your own garden!
