Just like in spring, summer or fall, our neighbor Mim also loves to be outside in winter.
Unfortunately, it often just rains, but when it freezes or even snows and nature gets its well-deserved rest, she puts on her hat, pullover and coat and sees what there is to discover.
As we live in the countryside, there is a lot of wildlife here, but during the day you usually only see foot- or paw prints.
Birds, on the other hand, can often be seen during the day in all sizes and beautiful feather colors. Robins, blue tits, sparrows and, especially in our garden, often even green and great spotted woodpeckers!
When the sun shines on frozen puddles and through icy branches, her heart beats faster, so that she can often lose herselve outside for hours until the cold finally drives her back inside…until the next day.
