After returning home from our collective walk in the forest, the air got rather cold in the evening. To be honest, we were looking forward to get into the warmth and onto our cosy sofa, when a rustling in our hedge caught our attention. And look who we met: a whole hedgehog family!
Baby hedgehogs at this time of year really surprised us, because it probably won’t be long before it’s time for hibernation. And during this period it is surely not really possible for mummy to suckle her children.
So we hope that the little ones are well taken care of until the first frost sets in and the whole cute family has a comfortable place to stay in over the winter!
In any case I was blown away, that’s how cute they were!
